What is AGuiTurPR?
We are a non-profit organization that brings together tour guides certified by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (CTPR). Our members are tourism professionals committed to their development and the necessary actions to achieve sustainable growth of the tourism sector of our country.

Our main objectives are:
- Promote tourism, highlighting our attractions by promoting tourist activities in a safe and responsible manner.
- Offer educational and professional development opportunities to certified tour guides.
- Represent and protect the interests of our tour guides in legal. labor and regulatory issues.

Among the many benefits of being an AGUITURPR we can point out the followings:
- You will receive advance notice of upcoming dates for talks/workshops/courses for your Continuing Education, a mandatory requirement for the renewal of the Tourism Company of Puerto Rico (CTPR) license.
- You will be part of the professional transformation we will be providing through current topics in the economic tourism sector, as well as business topics that are so important to our work.
- You will be part of the promotion and marketing initiatives we are implementing through various virtual communication platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, among others.
- Will help you find tools that can develop your career and your entrepreneurship as a CTPR Certified Tour Guide.
- You will be part of the efforts to promote more services aimed at the sustainable development of communities within the Puerto Rican archipelago.
- You will have representation in different forums and agencies relevant to our profession. There, we will be protecting the interests of Certified Tour Guides; we will participate in hearings on new or existing labor and regulatory laws that may impact our profession.
- We will also seek new partnership opportunities within the economic tourism sector.
- You will participate in events to promote your services and establish new alliances or contracts with other companies in Puerto Rico.
